Prince is all that I could have asked for, and more. He was born 13 Jan. 1997, bred by Kitty Sjong in Denmark. His wonderful personality makes him a joy to live with. He is full of fun, very confident, and a perfect companion. He's beautiful too :-) Prince gained his Dutch Championstitle (Sept. 1999) under judges from Sweden, Ireland, England and Holland. He excells in type, soundness and movement. In sept. 2005 he made his debut in Veteran's class at the Dutch Papillon & Phalene club. Judge mr J. Schepers awarded him with 1 Exc. and he became best veteran in show (and 2nd best brace with grandson Halo).

Eventhough Agility is more his idea of a hobby, in November 1999 he succesfully took his first obedience exam and ended in the topscore of his class with 9 out of 10 points for heeling. He has a lot of temperament and loves to work and show off.

From his first litter, son Oscar (owned by Helen Dohrmann, Firerose Papillons, USA) not only gained his Canadian Championstitle, but is also a Canine Good Citizen and passed two official temperament tests which add TC & TT to his name, and got his CD title in 2004. Daughter Hazel (owned by Ietje Postma) has competed in Agility and taken up Doggy Dancing. I'm very proud of all they and their owners have achieved. You can find their littermates Nixe and Floyd in the Gallery, as well as Nixe's daughter DJ Ch Can Ch Febe and Nixe's son Halo.

When we moved from Holland to Germany, Prince, Nixe and Raiya all passed the Zucht Zulassungs Prüfung (approval for breeding), taken in August 2002 at the VK (Verband Deutscher Kleinhundezüchter, VDH/FCI).

          

June 2003, almost 6 1/2 years. And at 7 years, with thanks to Bonnie Bias for giving His Royal Highness a well deserved crown. Prince has shown his true strength of character in being a rolemodel to the next 2 generations as much as that he forgivingly endures my style of driving ;-)
