The other Heads N' Tails "kids" !
Letting go is never easy, and the Butterflies who left our home will always stay "ours". We thank their owners for providing such loving homes and for keeping in touch.

Heads N' Tails Mighty Mouse Pandora
Pandora was born on 14 June 1995. Her sire is NL Ch. Boudewijn v.d. Maarsas, her dam is our Kelly. When she was 1 year old she moved in with Sandra Strik and caused the "potato chip syndrome". You can't have just one.... First foto: 1 year; second photo taken by Helen Dohrmann, April 2000. Third photo: taken in May 2001, all owned by Henk & Ietje Postma. (Second from left: Hazel; first on the right: Gisel, daughter of Pandora.)
Heads N' Tails Whole Lotta Pieter
Photos: Pieter with his friend Casimir, and as a puppy together with our Bono). Pieter is the one and only son of our Pippi.

Heads N' Tails Casper
Casper is litterbrother to Casimir & Calypso. Photos: on the first one he is 11 months old, on the others he's 2 years. We thank Gerda and Ad Doedee for giving him a lifesaving second chance.
Can. Ch. Heads N' Tails Prince of Hearts CGC TC TT
...also known as Oscar. He is litterbrother to Floyd, Nixe and Hazel. When Oscar was 3 months old, his new mom Helen Dohrmann came all the way from the USA and we had a good time getting to know eachother better (and have been close friends eversince) before she took Oscar home. We thank Helen for her trust and friendship, and for all the updates and photos she sends! We are very proud of all that she and Oscar are achieve together. In Nov. 2001 Oscar finished as a Canadian Champion when J. Clark (New Zealand) made him Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed. Oscar was already pointed by J. Quiros-Kubat (Argentina), I. Glynn (South Australia), K. Edh (Sweden) en J. Rowton (USA). As far as we know, Oscar is one of the first Dutch bred Canadian Champions in our breed. However, what we are thrilled about even more is that Helen and Oscar successfully passed the Canine Good Citizen test, German Sheperd Club of America's Temperament Test evaluation test, as well as the official Temperament Test held by the American Temperament Test Society.

So many great Oscar-pics, so little space... Photos of Oscar at 1, 3 and 8 weeks, and at 2 1/2 years. Photo on the right: the "European Union", Oscar and Can Ch. Inkies Twinkling in Gold CGC and Inkies Scarlet O'Hara CGC. Eventhough he's not in the groupphoto (the poor guy was discriminated for not being born in Europe), it should be mentioned that Helen was owned first by Can. Ch. Majestic Joy Scarlet Pimpernel CGC TC TT.
Heads N' Tails Happy Hazel
Hazel is littersister to Floyd, Oscar and Nixe. She is owned by Ietje & Henk Postma (Papillons "Fan de Suerich" and positive dogtraining school "Buzgiz"). Photos: taken at the age of 5 months, 7 months (together with Floyd and Nixe) and at 2 years of age at an agilitymatch (she's the spitting image of her dam, Calypso!). November 2002 brought wonderful news: Hazel was promoted into the c-class, the highest level of agility competition. By the way, Hazel and the other dogs at her home are exclusively clickertrained, and with smashing success!

Inkies Naughty By Nature
Basse was born 16-07-1996, his breeder is Kitty Sjong in Denmark. Basse's pedigree holds many generations of Phalenes. His temperament can be described in two words: sweet & silly. He bounces through life and is always inventing silly games. One of his favourites is hiding and waiting to be found and chased. He has that very special gift to make people smile (and he knows how to use it!).
Due to ongoing and progressive disharmony (an understatement) between him and Prince, we had Basse neutered in May 2001. Unfortunately this did not work out as we had hoped, but we were extremely lucky to meet mrs. Broekhuizen, who has won Basse's love and affection and gives him the life he deserves. We see them both on a regular basis and a couple of times a year Basse comes to us for vacation which is just perfect.
