"Halo" & "Teddy", 2 1/2 days old.

                     Their birthweights were 166 & 155 gr.

 

One week old:

Their weights at 1 week: Halo 255, Teddy 239.

The 2nd week:

Halo, 383 gr.

Teddy, 358 gr.

This week they opened their eyes, Halo at 11 days and Teddy 2 days later. Teddy's colour keeps us guessing, his tan markings give him the appearance of a tricolour but the colour on the back of his head and on his body gets browner by the day. Maybe sable after all, time will tell.

Not much action yet besides behing held and talked to. They drink-sleep-drink-sleep but walk right into our hands when they wake up and see us, had their nails clipped for the first time and met our big dog Hannah and their grandpa Prince and will meet the rest of the family as well in the coming days.

The 3rd week:

An important week: they can now hear and see well and were greeting us tailwagging by the end of the week, and use newspapers for potty-area. The introduction of soft food on a saucer was short and successful. They met a visiting neighbour, heared lots of new noises and are very interested in our other dogs. Teddy's colour"crisis" has come to an end: he's sable, not tricolour.

Growing up is hard work ;-)

Their weights at 3 weeks: Halo 528 and Teddy 540 gr.

 

The 4th week:

They're growing up very well.

 

Teddy had Halo by the nose, in the real sense of the word. So Halo decided to go take a look at something different than his brothers teeth.

and Teddy and "auntie" Zilvia. Zilvia couldn't stand it any longer that they kept moving around so quick so she tried something else to keep their attention. It worked ;-)

 

"Got any milk?   Nope.... but I like you anway."

Their weights at 4 weeks: Halo 631 and Teddy 657 gr.

 

The 5th week:

It was an exciting week for Teddy and Halo. They moved from the living room to the room where we and the dogs are most during the day so now they're in the middle of daily action. They played a lot with Raiya's puppies (who play much rougher, but Nixe's boys adjusted really well to that <G>), went outside for the first time, discovered new toys, ate raw meaty bones, learned how to rip up newspapers, and more useful things like that. They're eating extremely well, especially Teddy also loves to help Raiya's pups to finish their food. Their weights at 5 weeks: Halo 769 and Teddy 854 gr.
